Our Projects.

Girl Child Education.

Thousands of Girls in Ugandan face great danger while growing up and even when they grow, they still face challenges like being denied to do certain Jobs and when some get the chance to work they are abused at their work places. We designed this project to provide free education to girls whose parents can't afford to take the to school and those who are orphans. At Lukwago #CARE Foundation, ending gender-based violence and ensuring equal employment opportunities for Ugandan women is our top priority. Supporting girl’s education is part of our mission to uplift and transform lives of Ugandan girls and women because we believe that girls too are as equal and special as boys/ men. Lukwago Scholarships.

At Lukwago CARE Foundation (LCF) our major emphasis is promoting children's rights and according to us, every child has a right to good education. In Uganda especially in the rural and slum areas children have less chances of attending school. This is because they have lost both parents or one parent , or simply because they are from poor families that live below the poverty line.

As Lukwago CARE Foundation (LCF) we have designed a Scholarships program aimed at educating the less fortunate both girls & boys putting much emphasis on Girl Child Education. If you would love to sponsor this project please contact us. Thank you.

Back To School Project.

Through this project that is held three times a year we we give out free scholastic materials to school children like books, text books, pens, pencils, drawing co-lours, water colors, school shoes, school bags, mathematical sets and drawing papers. Lukwago Medical Camp.

In most rural parts of Uganda, many people can take a year with out seeing a medical doctor, and when ever they fall sick, they use local herbs to treat them selves which poses a big threat to their health because they are not sure of the right cure. Those who have some little money will go to small drug shops and prescribe for them selves drugs.

As Lukwago CARE Foundation (LCF) we have designed a program where we shall be running free mobile medical clinic that will provide dental services, basic treatment, eye check ups and treatment and general medical practices for free in different rural communities of Uganda.

Strong Woman:

Most women in rural parts of Uganda have financial problems. This is because they are poor and have no active business to sustain them. Some of the women are single mothers and yet they have families of about 5 children to look after. Some women are in sex trade which is not good. As a foundation we have decided to start this project to help uplift these mothers through providing them with small start up capital in form of grants of $20 and we currently have two women in this project from Eastern Uganda who received $20 each after we identified them and the funds in this project were given to us by one of our SPONSOR from USA and after explaining to her in depth the Strong Woman project and how we can create women entrepreneurs through this project that can contribute to the development of our country, she picked interest and she sent us $40 for the project. The two women are improving day by day and from the profits they can feed their families and also contribute towards their children's education and meet their personal needs as women like buying them selves clothes of their choice and taste. We visit them every month to monitor their progress and guide them on how to be strong successful women entrepreneurs and responsible future leaders plus being responsible citizens. On every visit, we train and educate them with financial skills like book keeping, records management, stock management, customer care , business management and above all we teach them the basic core principle of family managements which is family planning so that they can have very small manageable families which they can look after even with out the support of men and in so doing we believe this will strategically help in archiving and attaining the the eight United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). We also plan to give them tools like sewing machines, bicycle and shop items to start start small shops. In this project our major aim is to make them self reliant in a long term sustainable way. We love empowering the African woman so she can be in position to look after her children and be financially independent with their own sustainable businesses. Happy Families Uganda:

Through through this we move in communities doing community sensitization teach people about family planing methods and the beauty / benefit of having small sizeable and manageable families.

Dress Africa:

This project is aimed at providing free clothes to those in need especially in rural areas, women and children in prisons, men in prisons, and to street children. If you would love to sponsor this project please contact us. Thank you.

Lukwago Kids Choir:

This is a music project aimed at identifying children with talent in music and growing their talents to greater levels. In this music program, we teach children different music instruments both African and Western instruments, teach them how to compose and write music, we also groom their vocal abilities. In future, we plan to take them to recording studios so that they can be in position to record their music. We use music to empower the young generation. Primary School:

Help us build a school for our orphanage.

Lukwago Children's Home:

We are in plans to build an Orphanage in Uganda called Lukwago Children's Home with over 50 children, some children are from the streets, some lost both parents to HIV/AIDS, some Abandoned, some from poor homes and others are picked from the police station. The Foundation is in need of funding to buy land where the children's home is going to be built. If you would love to sponsor this project please contact us. Thank you.

Lukwago Agricultural Grants:

In Uganda, the mostly practiced economic activity is Agriculture and most people practice subsistence form of Agriculture and in this they can only produce in small amounts which in most times does not even sustain them up-to the next growing season. This is mainly because they lack enough Agricultural knowledge on good agricultural practices, as a foundation we have started this program to teach farmers good farming practices and also give them free seeds, seedlings, hoes and goats to rare.If you would love to sponsor this project please contact us. Feed Africa:

In Africa, most children at school spend a full day with out having a single meal while at school, this greatly affect their performance at school and they can not settle well while at school. In Uganda, this is common in most schools and this project will help reduce this problem and we plan implementing it in Ugandan Schools.

Safe Water:
